The International University of Business Agriculture and Technology (IUBAT) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Odoo, a global leader in open-source ERP software, to introduce a specialised ERP education programme at its Uttara campus. Metamorphosis Ltd, an official Odoo Silver Partner, joined the initiative.
The partnership will align academic learning with industry needs by integrating Odoo's business applications into the curriculum. Students and faculty will gain access to enterprise-grade tools, expert training, and potential internship opportunities, following Odoo's global education model.
From IUBAT, the MoU was signed by Prof Dr Mozaffar Alam Chowdhury, Dean, CBA of IUBAT, in the presence of Prof Dr Hasanuzzaman Tushar. The Odoo Middle East delegation included Kevin Farah, Head of Education MENA/CCA, and Sahar Dahsha, Education Consultant. Representing Metamorphosis Ltd were Sadiq M. Alam, Managing Director and COO, and Md. Alimuzzaman Nayan, Manager of Business Communication.
The programme began with a meeting between the delegation and the IUBAT Vice Chancellor, followed by a campus tour and networking session. After the signing, Odoo experts conducted a Faculty Development Training session at the university's computer lab, marking the start of the collaboration.
