The Trump administration has ended Temporary Protected Status (TPS) for Myanmar nationals living in the United States. Citing improved conditions in Myanmar, the Department of Homeland Security announced that TPS will not be extended beyond 25 November. The decision affects nearly 4,000 Myanmar citizens currently under this protection. Since returning to the office, President Trump has taken a tougher stance on immigration, revoking TPS benefits for several countries.
