Robi Axiata PLC, one of the country's leading digital service providers, has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with BRAC Bank PLC to provide financial assistance to app developers working through Robi's app marketplace, bdapps.
The agreement was signed recently at Robi's corporate office in Dhaka. Under the partnership, BRAC Bank will offer specialised financial services tailored for bdapps developers to help promote, scale, and sustain their ventures. The collaboration aims to empower young digital entrepreneurs across Bangladesh and enable them to transform their ideas into viable businesses.
Representing BRAC Bank at the signing ceremony were Syed Abdul Momen, Additional Managing Director and Head of SME; Alamgir Hossain, Head of Small Business and Distributor Finance; Indrajit Sur, Head of Medium Business and Supply Chain Finance; and Mohammad Jakirul Islam, Head of SME Strategy, Innovation, and New Business.
From Robi Axiata PLC, attendees included Shihab Ahmad, Chief Commercial Officer (CCO); Md Showkat Kader Chowdhury, Head of Marketing; Manik Lal Das, Director, Customer Value Solutions; and Shafiq Shamsur Razzaq, General Manager, VAS and Digital Services.
