Pubali Bank PLC has inaugurated its 515th branch at Teknaf in Cox's Bazar to expand access to modern banking services in the region.
Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer Mohammad Ali formally inaugurated the branch as the chief guest. Deputy Managing Director Md Shahnewaz Khan, General Manager and Head of Chattogram Principal Office Mohammad Abdur Rahim, and Deputy General Manager and Head of ADC Division Md Rabiul Alam attended the programme as special guests.
Md Shahed Ali, Deputy General Manager and Regional Manager of Chattogram South Region, presided over the inaugural ceremony.
Speaking at the event, Mohammad Ali said the expansion of banking services was crucial for Bangladesh's economic development, growth in trade and commerce, and the promotion of savings and investment activities. He said the opening of the new branch in Teknaf would enable local residents to access modern and convenient banking services.
He added that the branch would contribute to increased savings, credit facilities, remittance services and other financial activities, playing a significant role in the economic development of the area.
The branch manager, local business leaders and representatives of the community were also present at the ceremony.
