Pubali Bank PLC, one of the leading private sector financial institutions in Bangladesh, has launched a co-branded credit card in collaboration with Chattogram Medical College and Chattogram Medical College Hospital, an initiative of the bank's Anderkilla Branch.
The launch ceremony was held at the conference room of Chattogram Medical College Hospital, with Professor Dr Mohammad Jasim Uddin, principal of Chattogram Medical College, attending as the chief guest. Pubali Bank Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer Mohammad Ali was present as the special guest, while Brigadier General Mohammad Taslim Uddin, director of Chattogram Medical College Hospital, chaired the event.
Also present were Md Abdur Rahim, general manager of the Chattogram Principal Office; Md Robiul Alam, deputy general manager and head of the Alternative Delivery Channel Division; NM Firoz Kamal, deputy general manager and head of the Card Business Division; Professor Dr Md Abdur Rob, vice-principal of Chattogram Medical College; and Dr Mohammad Elias Chowdhury, deputy director of the hospital, along with senior officials from both institutions.
Under this special initiative, doctors, students and hospital officials and employees will be able to enjoy banking services more conveniently. Following the ceremony, the bank inaugurated a campaign booth on the hospital premises.

Professor Dr Mohammad Jasim Uddin, principal of Chattogram Medical College, said, "This initiative will make banking easier for our students and doctors. In his closing remarks, Brigadier General Mohammad Taslim Uddin, director of Chattogram Medical College Hospital, said that he would inform the bank authorities about the facilities the hospital needs to ensure efficient service delivery and would extend all cooperation in building the required infrastructure.
