Premier Bank PLC held its Chattogram regional performance review meeting on Saturday morning, 1 November 2025, presided over by the bank's Managing Director and CEO, Mohammad Abu Jafar.
The session was graced by Independent Director and Chairman of the Audit Committee, Md Forkan Hossain, and Independent Director and Chairman of Premier Bank Securities Limited, M Nurul Alam (FCS, CCEP-I, CGIA), as special guests.
Also present were S M Wali Ul Morshed, Deputy Managing Director and Head of Retail Banking; Md Anowar Hossain, SEVP and Head of Recovery Division; and Syed Shafqat Rabbi, EVP and Head of General Services and Human Resources Divisions. The meeting began with welcome remarks from Kishaloy Sen, EVP and Manager, Agrabad Branch, and Mohammad Fakhrul Islam, SVP and Manager, O R Nizam Road Branch.
Branch and sub-branch managers from across the Chattogram region, along with operations managers and senior officials, participated in the meeting.

Independent Directors, Md Forkan Hossain and M Nurul Alam, underscored the importance of corporate governance, risk management, transparency, and compliance culture across the bank.
The meeting featured detailed discussions and reviews of the bank's overall performance, branch-wise results, quarterly progress, business growth, loan recovery, reduction of non-performing loans (NPLs), overdue management, credit rating analysis, and digital banking initiatives. Branch managers from Manikarchar, Gouripur, Companyganj, Cox's Bazar SME, Maijdee, Feni, Mirsharai, Agrabad, Pahartoli, Jubilee Road, Kodomtoli, and other branches presented their performance reports.
