Hop Lun launches ‘Play It Forward’ to support working parents

Leading global apparel manufacturer Hop Lun has launched a new cross-market CSR initiative titled 'Play It Forward' under its #SheCan platform.

The initiative aims to support working parents by enhancing learning and play resources at the company's high-quality on-site childcare centres across multiple factory locations.

As part of the programme, employees from Hop Lun's Hong Kong office will donate new or nearly new toys and storybooks — including picture books, stacking cups, blocks, puzzles, and certified soft toys — to enrich the reading corners and play areas of the Fashion childcare centre in Bangladesh.

Hop Lun currently operates several childcare centres at its factories, including Fashion, Brands, Intimate, Diva, Legend, and Heritage. Each centre caters to children from newborns to three years old, with capacity ranging from 14 to 60 children. The facilities provide a nurturing environment focused on language development, interactive learning, and emotional care. Children are served nutritious meals and enjoy engaging activities such as singing, storytelling, and educational play using toys, alphabet stickers, and books.

Commenting on the initiative, Dr Sabrina Tin, Chief People Officer of Hop Lun, said, "At Hop Lun, we believe that supporting our people also means supporting their families. Through Play It Forward, we are reinforcing our people-first values and ESG commitments while contributing to our employees' well-being and development."
