The expulsion orders of these 28 leaders were withdrawn based on their applications and in accordance with a decision of the party, said a press release signed today (17 November) by BNP Senior Joint Secretary General Ruhul Kabir Rizvi.

According to the release, the expelled leaders were reinstated as primary members. A large portion of those reinstated are from Gazipur City and its affiliated thana and ward units.

Around 18 leaders have been brought back, including Gazipur Metropolitan BNP's former joint general secretary Md Tanvir Ahmed, former finance affairs secretary Md Sabdar Hasan, and former publicity secretary Mahbubur Rashid Khan Shipu.
