The Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) announced the names of its primary candidates for 13 constituencies in Dhaka for the upcoming national election.
The party did not nominate candidates in seven seats.
BNP Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir made the announcement at a press conference at the party chairperson's Gulshan office this evening (3 November).
According to the primary list, Khandaker Abu Ashfaq has been nominated for Dhaka-1, Amanullah Aman for Dhaka-2, Gayeshwar Chandra Roy for Dhaka-3, Tanvir Ahmed Robin for Dhaka-4, Nabiullah Nabi for Dhaka-5, and Ishraque Hossain for Dhaka-6.
Other nominees include Mirza Abbas for Dhaka-8, MA Qaiyum for Dhaka-11, Saiful Alam Nirob for Dhaka-12, Sanjida Islam Tuli for Dhaka-14, Safiqul Islam Khan for Dhaka-15, Aminul Haq for Dhaka-16, and Dewan Mohammad Salauddin for Dhaka-19.
At the press conference, Mirza Fakhrul said the names of candidates for Dhaka-7, 9, 10, 13, 17, 18, and 20 will be announced later.
