Two crude bombs were hurled at Prabartana, a business owned by Fisheries and Livestock ministry Adviser Farida Akhter, in Dhaka's Mohammadpur area this morning.
The explosions occurred around 7:10am, said Kazi Rafique Ahmed, officer-in-charge of Mohammadpur Police Station.
"Two miscreants on a motorcycle arrived and hurled the crude bombs in front of the establishment, both of which exploded with loud bangs," the OC said.
No casualties were reported.
Anika Mahfuz, a customer service executive of Prabartana, said two crude bombs were exploded near the establishment. None was hurt in the incident.
Law enforcement officials visited the scene and collected evidence.
"Police teams are working at the spot to identify and arrest those involved," OC Rafique added.
