The government has appointed new deputy commissioners (DCs) to 14 districts.
The Ministry of Public Administration tonight (9 November) issued a notification in this regard.
According to the notification, new DCs have been posted in Brahmanbaria, Jhenaidah, Narail, Jamalpur, Meherpur, Kishoreganj, Jhalakathi, Gopalganj, Chuadanga, Panchagarh, Joypurhat, Mymensingh, Manikganj, and Chandpur.
Additionally, new DCs were appointed to 15 other districts, according to another notification issued last night. With them, new DCs have now been appointed in a total of 29 districts over the last two days.
